Multi Service Terminal (MST) Closure
Description
The Multi Service Terminal incorporates hardened adapters and are fully OptiTap compatible. Allowing for rapid tower and FTTH deployments, the MSTs are fully IP68 rated to fully withstand the rigors of outdoor deployment in all environments. Each MST comes with easy deployment mount allowing wall mounting or for pole mounting.

Air Tightness Test
Multiport Service Terminal (MST) is fully assembled and sealed in factory. Each MST fiber optic terminal box undergoes an air tightness test to determine whether it meets the IP68 rating.Determining the sealing performance of MST fiber optic terminal boxes by detecting air leakage values is a fast and efficient testing method. All Alteoptic’s MST fiber optic terminal boxes are 100% tested for sealing performance.

Freeze-Thaw Test
To verify long-term reliability in underground deployment environments, Alteoptic MST and hardened drop cable assemblies were tested under repeated freeze-thaw conditions in accordance with GR-771-Core 5.4.4.1. After 10 cycles at -5°C under wet conditions, the products showed no water intrusion and maintained stable optical performance with insertion loss variation within 0.05 dB. This demonstrates excellent sealing integrity and dependable signal transmission in harsh winter applications such as handholes, manholes, and vaults
PEI(polyetherimide) Overview:
PEI(polyetherimide) has excellent mechanical properties, electrical insulation properties, radiation resistance, high and low temperature resistance and wear resistance, and can pass through microwave. PEl has excellent high temperature mechanical properties and wear resistance, so it can be used in the manufacture of water transmission pipe steering valve parts. Due to its high strength, flexibility and heat resistance,PEl is an excellent coating and film forming material that can form coatings and films suitable for the electronics industry. Continuous working temperature range is large (-200--170 ℃ long-term work), glass transition temperature and thermal denaturation temperature close, melting point up to 330 ℃ in low temperature/high temperature still maintain high mechanical strength, high hardness, high creep resistance, good toughness outstanding resistance to precipitation (suitable for use in the use of steam disinfection sterilization room); Not easy to breed bacteria, often used in food processing industry high radiation resistance, can pass through infrared light and microwave radiation; Good electrical insulation, good electroplating performance Wide temperature range (-200--170 ℃) to maintain a stable dielectric constant and loss factor can not pass the SMT reflow soldering test.
